FAQ
Q: Will it make my wrist green?
A: Yes, it might and it’s a positive sign your copper bracelet is naturally interacting with your skin!
Copper reacts with sweat, oils, and skin chemistry to form a harmless green patina. This is completely safe, washes off easily, and shows the bracelet is authentic and “working.”
In holistic traditions, this gentle interaction allows trace copper to support wellness, energy flow, joint comfort, and balance. It is also often used as a guide to show how much toxins is in the skin, the faster the green shows, the more toxins are in the skin. However, many see this as a small, temporary mark showing the natural benefits many wearers love.
Q: How will it fit around my wrist?
A: This is a soft copper bracelet which still holds its own, if you squeeze the bracelet around your wrist it will close up and become as tight or loose as you want it to be. I go off an average measurement of a 7 inch wrist size, if you would like it making smaller or larger, feel free to email me (wattswelds@gmail.com) with your order number and the specific size you want. (Please allow for a slightly longer delivery time on custom orders/sizes)
Q: How do I clean the bracelet?
A: To keep that beautiful high-shine mirror finish:
Daily/Quick Care
• Wipe with a soft microfiber cloth after wearing to remove oils and sweat.
• For light cleaning: Warm water + mild dish soap, gently rub with a soft cloth, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
For Tarnish or Deeper Shine Restoration
Use this gentle, natural method (safe for pure copper):
1. Mix lemon juice + a pinch of salt (or make a paste with baking soda + lemon juice).
2. Apply with a soft cloth or old toothbrush, rub gently in circular motions.
3. Let sit 1–5 minutes if needed.
4. Rinse well with warm water.
5. Dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth and buff to a mirror shine.
Tips:
• Always dry completely to prevent new spotting/oxidation.
• Avoid harsh abrasives, steel wool, or ultrasonic cleaners — they can scratch the polish.
• For best results, use a dedicated copper polishing cloth occasionally.
This keeps your bracelet radiant and ready for daily wear. The natural patina will still develop over time, adding to its unique character!
Store in a dry place when not wearing
